Diabetic Monitoring
For our patients suffering from Diabetes, we offer overnight diabetic monitoring. We understand how important it is to manage your Diabetes and monitor your Glucose levels. San Antonio Family Physicians utilizes the state-of-the-art “iPRO” monitor, which is used to record accurate glucose reading for a full 72 hours. A very small lightweight needleless plastic button is applied to the patient’s side with a waterproof clear ‘Tegaderm’ bandage. This gives us a better understanding of the types of glucose changes that can easily be missed on standard at-home glucometer testing.
